The sign isn’t as funny from the sidewalk. When you’re driving by, to me it looks like it just says, “Meat.”

Either way, it’s not nearly as amusing as the “House of Meats” sign you can see from I-75 as you’re passing though Tampa, Florida.

The Cheesetique, our amazing local cheeseshop, has moved to a larger, posher space two doors down from their former digs. Driving by today I almost slammed on my brakes when I saw the sign that’s already been installed at the old store. It says “Meat” in large letters. On closer inspection, the store is apparently a butcher shop and the whole name, in smaller letters, is “Let’s Meat on the Avenue.”
